Sqala
Located on the Boulevard Almohad, opposite the fishing port. The fortified bastion of the eighteenth century is one of the few vestiges of the reign of the Alawi Sultan Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdallah to whom we owe the reconstruction of the city in 1770. Aiming at making it a point of resistance to European incursions, he armed the city with a battery or Sqala pointing till the present time its old guns and cannons to the sea. Today the platform, hosts a beautiful restaurant with a panoramic view over the Atlantic Ocean. |
